London, 17 Dec'08 - Reunion of the Khalid's family after almost a year apart. Btw, it was just between Abang and Us. This was a last minute plan to fly to London. Papa has been planning to go ever since my finals but didnt make any booking since then. We've confirmed the booking just 2-3 weeks before. I've been wanting to blog this so that I would remember this joyful vacation, or the friends who read this would help me remember it in case something happens to me. *touchwood!*. Anyway, it was a 10 days vacation to London, Manchester, Liverpool and Paris.

Briefly...
Starting off with London...
It's been awhile since my last trip here. and that was waaayy few years back, at the age of 7-8. On that time, mama was pursuing her Masters in Leicester. Gees. Gila lama. What we did? Like a normal typical tourist. Toured around London and had A LOT of shopping. Westfield Mall was our 1st stop on the 1st day, and fyi, it's the largest mall in London. Oxford Street was the BEST shopping street ever. Being there was like 2nd to heaven. kiddin'. anyway, name any stores, they have it there. Last but not least, the famous Harrods. Mama's fav place! Enough said on shopping, in conclusion, u have to be in London during winter's sale.
i'll say its my best shopping experience so far.

and ouhh.. my finals result came out while i was happily enjoying my hols, and guess what.. double joy! she scores~~! :D DL bebeh..for the semester la..heh! will try to keep up :D.


Next~ Tours. The museums. The National history and the Science Museum. it was quite oh-kay. :) London Eye, spent the New Year's Eve. We were freezing and there were thousands of ppls but it was a beautiful moment with the Family. :) How I missed it. :s Madame Toussoud's. Met everyone there. A-list hollywood stars to Historical politicians and Cartoon Characters. Haha. Trafalgar Square. Ahh.. brings back all the happy kiddy memories with the pigeons. sorry to say, we couldnt find any pigeons when we got there. migrating during winter season i guess? *dissapointed* Underground Subway.. I LOVE the subway..best way to travel cheap. :D



and off to Manchester...
The ONLY memories left from here was OLD TRAFFORD baaaaby!! AT LAST, i stepped foot on the grounds of the RED DEVILS. Ahhh..someone hit me. *dush* it was a DREAM come true. and umm.. i felt like crying! haha Anyway, our first trip was the ManUtd Megastore. and from the name itself, the MEGAstore was HUGE. Macam macam ada. I brought quite a lot. WE bought quite a lot. Hehe. You'd go crazy yourself in u're a BIG FAN! and your family is a big fan. Woohoo! Then abang, aniq and I went to the museum and stadium tour. There were trophies, medals, old jerseys and the Munich Disaster memorial in the museum. I couldnt believe my eyes when we stepped foot inside the Old Trafford Stadium. OMFG. Mau pengsan!! it was an amazing experience. We get to go to the players changing room, the audience seats and the home and away team seats! AHhHhhhhh...!! ok. *breathing deeply* and calming down.......

Ok.. the rest of our days in Manchester was again, shopping and visiting abang's uni and home in Rusholme.



Then there was Paris!..
Spent Christmas and Papa and Mama's anniversary. It was fcking cold. Gosh. Went to the Eiffel Tower, d'Arche and touring the city. Shopping? Mestilah! the LV was huge btw. :D fell in love with it. The almost best part was Disneyland. Enjoyed it so much and dissapointed at the same time cause it was too cold that my leg got cramped and it was hard to walk properly. Dammit. The temp was 0 degree. imagine that. waited for the rides almost an hour or more, and the ride was just 5-10 mins. Mati kesejukan. That was about Paris.

We had a day trip to Liverpool while in Manchester. A small city but it was nice.
Glad we had this trip after such a long time. Missing abang and his perangai gila. :) missing the family with the perangai yang amat berbeda dan complicated. haha! hoping to be able to do it again. I fell in love with London.
